I am grateful to Minister Lin Wei-che of Kaohsiung Chang Gung Memorial Hospital for the invitation, and to Minister Liu Yi-sheng of the Department of Radiology for the planning, which allowed me to participate in the First Southern Taiwan Radiology Diagnostic Department Resident Training Program at Kaohsiung Chang Gung Memorial Hospital.

Furthermore, Minister Liu arranged for me to share on the topic of "Future of Interventional Radiology," and to serve as the chair for Minister Yeh Li-ren of E-Da Hospital and Dr. Chiang Chia-ling of Kaohsiung Veterans General Hospital.

【Interventional Radiology is a specialty that combines imaging medicine with clinical treatment.Minimally invasive diagnosis and treatment are performed using real-time imaging devices such as ultrasound (US), X-ray fluoroscopy, angiography, computed tomography (CT), and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).

In medical centers, regional hospitals, and clinics, interventional radiologists perform various interventional examinations, diagnoses, and treatments using different imaging instruments in a wide range of fields, including the brain, spinal cord, nerves, and blood vessels; the lungs and breast; the abdomen, digestive, reproductive, and urinary systems; and peripheral joints, tendons, and nerves.

Bow Wang, M.D. specializes in [Transarterial Microembolization (TAME), TAME], a novel treatment method for chronic tendon, bone, and joint pain.
