Greater Trochanteric Pain Syndrome and Hip Osteoarthritis: TAME with dHACM Regenerative Injection — Case Report

Mr. T had suffered from pain in his left groin, thigh, and right lateral hip for many years, experiencing stiffness and decreased flexibility due to pain. After consultation and examination, Bow Wang, M.D. diagnosed him with mild osteoarthritis of the left hip and greater trochanteric pain syndrome of the right hip. Under X-ray fluoroscopy guidance and local anesthesia, Bow Wang, M.D. performed a puncture of the inguinal artery, inserting a microcatheter into the painful area. Under angiography, embolizing medication was then injected through the microcatheter.
After treatment, Mr. T experienced reduced pain and improved mobility in both hips. After a period of time, Bow Wang, M.D. performed amniotic fluid suspension hyperplasia injections (dHACM injection) on Mr. T's lower back, buttocks, and both hips. Following these treatments, Mr. T's pain and mobility improved further.
【Transarterial Microembolization (TAME), TAME】is suitable for hip disorders, including 【greater trochanteric pain syndrome】 and 【mild to moderate】【osteoarthritis of the hip】.
