[Taiwan Society of Interventional Radiology Annual Meeting, TSIR] [Original Author Dr. Okuno's Personal Guidance] [Academic Exchange] [Management Strategies for Pain Treatment Social Media] 2024-11-2~3
Author: Bow Wang, M.D.
Thanks to Dr. Hsu Yi-Chih, Chief Physician of the Tri-Service General Hospital of the Taiwan Society of Interventional Radiology (TSIR), for the invitation to speak at the musculoskeletal symposium on "Interventional Pain Treatment" at the 2024 Annual Meeting, titled "Social Media Management Strategies for Pain Treatment".
As Bow Wang, M.D. is still learning about social media management, I've read relevant literature from radiology journals and combined it with what I've learned from the "Personal Branding Workshop in the Internet Age" by New Thinking International and the "Refined Strategies in the New Self-Media Era" by Crazy Turning Point, to share my insights.
Furthermore, it was a pleasure that the TSIR Annual Meeting invited Dr. Yuji Okuno, the creator of Transarterial Microembolization (TAME), to Taiwan again to share his insights on pelvic floor and hemorrhoid embolization treatments. Besides taking Dr. Okuno to a night market and for a foot massage, Bow Wang, M.D. and other experts also had the opportunity to consult with Dr. Okuno and learn the simplified Transarterial Microembolization (TAME) guide for Trapezius myalgia.
Dr. Okuno is a successful multi-platform social media operator, showcasing his expertise on multiple platforms. However, time is a zero-sum game; the more time spent on social media, the less time he has to cultivate his professional skills, spend with family and friends, and even take care of his own health. How to allocate time and achieve a balance is very important.
Besides the academic seminars, the TSIR conference banquet was very lively. President [Dr. BiBi Zhang Biyi] and Secretary-General [Dr. Lin Junyu] danced on stage with many foreign guests. Dr. Okuno also seemed quite happy. Seeing the association so vibrant is truly gratifying!!
