[2023 Taiwan Pain Society / Taiwan Association of Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Cadaver Workshop] [Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Education] [Academic Exchange]
Author: Bow Wang, M.D.
I am grateful to the Taiwan Pain Medicine Association and the Taiwan Neurological Society for jointly organizing the cadaver simulation surgery workshop. This allowed me the opportunity to learn and refine my joint pain treatment techniques through the selfless and dedicated guidance of these silent mentors. Although this is my second time participating—last year I participated in the X-ray fluoroscopy-guided group, and this year I participated in the ultrasound group—… However, for each of these silent mentors and their families, this is a precious, one-time contribution, accompanied by a lifetime of emotions and memories. Thank you so much!!
Thank you to Dr. Wang Po-Kai, Director of the Pain Management Department at Hualien Tzu Chi Hospital, for providing the venue and making numerous arrangements, including this year's newly added special course assisted by an orthopedic surgeon—it was invaluable. I still remember last year's course coincided with the COVID-19 outbreak in Hualien, and the pressure they faced was unimaginable. Thank you to Chairman Lin Chih-Peng of the Taiwan Pain Medicine Association and Chairman Wang Ting-Kui of the Taiwan Neurological Medical Association, and the many lecturers who led the various excellent courses taught and guided us; we gained a great deal and benefited immensely.I am grateful for this learning opportunity and hope to further improve my treatment techniques to help more patients suffering from joint and spinal pain caused by musculoskeletal.
