【Transarterial Microembolization (TAME)】Pain Relief Treatment: Related Literature Publications and Original Author Clinic Visits
Since the 2019 International Intensive Course of Interventional Radiology (IICIR) hosted by the Korean Society for Interventional Radiology (KSIR) Upon hearing about Dr. Yuji Okuno's Transarterial Microembolization (TAME) application for chronic tendinitis, I planned a trip to Japan to observe and learn. However, due to COVID-19, this had to be postponed. Fortunately, Dr. Okuno was willing to host a free online conference between Taiwan and Japan to share his knowledge, and through exchanges with Dr. Keng-Wei Liang, I gradually got the hang of it and am now able to publish some papers and undergo revisions…

Dr. Okuno currently has six clinics in Japan using Transarterial Microembolization (TAME) for pain relief treatment.
After two and a half years, I finally had the opportunity to visit the clinic of the original creator in Japan and witness him perform treatments firsthand. I hope that through this visit, I can learn more techniques and related knowledge from the original master. PS: This year (2023), the Taiwan Radiological Society (TRS) will also invite Dr. Okuno to give a lecture.
